Editor Josh here. Just wanted to send out an update to say, no winners yet! It's kind of a hard one. So 2 things...
1 - If you don't have all the versions you think you're supposed to have, email me at [email protected]. Also, if you got the ebook set to get all the versions, I emailed you a link to download them more easily, since you're getting them all anyway. Might need to check your Spam folder.
2 - A HINT! The clues aren't easy to spot. But there's a way to make it a lot easier. Open two of the ebook versions side by side, and flip through each page front to back. It's a lot easier to see subtle differences that way. I'll go one step further and say that the clues are not in text!
It's a difficult puzzle, but the reward is worth it!

Editor Josh here! The contest for Jaycen Wise starts Saturday morning at 9 Pacific / Noon Eastern! This is how it's going to work. You have to figure out the name of the secret society in Jaycen's world and email us at [email protected] with SECRET SOCIETY in the subject line. The first 7 backers to email us the correct name will win the gold collectors coins. Once the contest is live, go to your Backerkit account to the digital files section. You will find a Wheel of Fortune style clue along with an ebook variant for every version of the book you got and Early Bird bonus clues. It will be up to you to find the differences in each variant, decipher the meaning, and fill in the key. Paid Patreon members get a bonus clue so head over there to view the post if you're a Patron!

We are still waiting on a bunch of surveys. If you missed it, please check your Spam folder! During surveys you can still add anything you want in Backerkit when you're filling out your survey, so if there's something you missed, go ahead and grab it! And if you missed accessing the ebook, please email us! For the guys who used Kickstarter's 3 payment installment feature, the last payment should have hit. If you had trouble with your final payment please reach out this week (so you don’t miss out on the competition).

Gold Coin Competition drops this Saturday! Set your Schedule!
The ebooks with all of the clues will be released on Saturday, January 18th at 9am PST / 12pm EST so everyone has a chance to win the golden coin! We were going to send them out tomorrow, but we don’t want people to be at a disadvantage because of work.
As a reminder, there are clues in each of the ebook versions of the books. You will get the ebook version of each print version that you have on your pledge, and there is an ebook level that gets you all the clues whether you have the print version coming or not. You will need to use those clues to decode the name of the secret society that follows Jaycen, and the first 7 backers to figure it out will win a gold version of the ancient Kush coin from the campaign! And if you bring the coin to our convention booth, you can get a gold metal comic variant! Look out for an email on Saturday when the ebooks will be sent out. There will be a puzzle key to help you out along with additional information!

Surveys, Black Friday, and Strangercon

Thank you so much for your patience! Editor Josh here! Seb is with family at the moment, so I'm just posting a quick update to let everyone know that all surveys are out!!! That is unless you used Kickstarter's 3 payment installment feature. All that means is Backerkit won't send your survey until after the last installment is paid so look out for that around December 14 (we just found this out as this is a new feature). But for everyone who paid in full, please check your Spam folder! If you didn't get it and didn't use the installment option, message us and we'll sort it out. And don't forget, you can still add anything you want in Backerkit when you're filling out your survey, so if there's something you missed, go ahead and grab it. :)
DIGITAL FILES! Your digital files will be available shortly after you complete your survey. We have to lock the survey and then you will have the ebook emailed to you and it will appear in your Backerkit download section. I should note, however, that the Jaycen Wise Source Material will be going out next week. And the ebook variants that you will use for the Gold Coin contest, those will now be going out on January 11th. We had mentioned before they would be going out December 13th, but in light of the discovery that people on the installment plan wouldn't have access until after that, we've moved it to January 11th to make it fair for everyone to have a chance to win the coin! So in the meantime, you'll have the regular ebook to read, and then the versions with the clues will come later.
